With the release of the brand new 2 wheel self balancing electric scooter, 2015 may be an exilerating year for gadget fans. Across the world, people are taking to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to post pics and vids of themselves zipping around on this 2 wheel contraption which basically seems as if a board having a wheel on either side.

A mixture of a skateboard and a segway, this mini Segway (devoid of the handle) type thing is bolstering in popularity, fuelled partly with the volume of celebrities that have been seen on a single. From Bieber to Soulja Boy, Kendall Jenner to Jamie Foxx, have the ability to tried their hand only at that nifty little gadget, and appear to have stood a lots of fun this.

Nicknamed the ‘swegway’ (on account of it’s likeness towards the Segway, but a ‘cooler’ version) we are really not sure entirely where this particular electric scooter came from or who invented the primary. More than likely it came from some factory in China. The 1st glimpses we got than it in the news were something called the IO Hawk, a scooter that sells for a whopping $1800. This is back in January of 2015. Subsequently many cheaper versions of the same product have come out there along with the average price currently seems to be around $500.

What makes it work? Basically you get up on both the panels and shift your system weight slightly forward or slightly back and it also senses this bodyweight change and moves backwards or forwards. It can also turn right or left. This scooter is proving to be so well received it’s actually being touted as being the personal mobility device into the future. Who wants to walk when you’re able to glide, right? Plus it’s a lot quicker than walking, travelling at speeds of 6mph to 10mph.

Where can you acquire one? These are typically available on quite a few different websites but under different famous brands possibly at vastly different prices. As an example the IO Hawk mentioned above is $1800 as the Phunkeeduck is concerning $1500 and a lot of cheaper could be the Monorover R2 which will come in at just $400-$600 (according to that you purchase it). What’s the difference between every one of these? None whatsoever. Actually all of them are almost a similar excluding a number of small, hardly noticeable differences. It just depends upon your financial allowance and if manufacturer is very important for you.
